Chris
Groomsman

Chris randomly came up to me one day during high school and, knowing we would be attending the same college the next fall, he asked me to be his roommate. I had always heard horror stories of friends who became roommates and it ruined the friendship. But deciding to live with Chris was one of the best decisions I have ever made. All throughout college, if I had a roommate, Chris was one of them. Suddenly I found myself liking the Beatles, starting to watch tennis on TV and making sure I made it home at night for Law & Order. That's when I started to realize Chris was rubbing off on me. Chris' influence in my life has run a lot more deeply than just my music and television tastes though. Chris also shaped my life in my studies. He was an important reason I was able to keep my work ethic high throughout college and continue studying even at the times I didn't want to but needed to the most. Chris' drive for academics is extremely admirable and I am forever grateful that he rubbed enough off on me that I could complete my undergraduate studies successfully. Any other roommate could have easily led me down a different path my freshman year, but Chris and I were somehow able to keep a good balance of work and play. I would have to say the greatest impact Chris has had in my life, however, came in one simple question. One night sitting upon lawn chairs in my garage in Menomonee Falls, Chris posed a question to me that has changed my entire life. He asked, "If you could've dated one girl from high school that you never got the chance to, who would that be?" I called Kelly the next day. And as they say, the rest is history. Chris' hard work in his studies will soon pay off. He has recently passed his CPA exam with flying colors and is currently earning his law degree from the University Wisconsin - Madison.
